What remains free
Everyday Hombee app features remain available without a subscription. This includes the basic AI assistant, which downloads a model to a supported phone or browser and can run locally on the device.
Hombee Pro funds features that create an ongoing infrastructure or third-party service cost. Its purpose is to cover those costs without placing basic home control behind a paid tier.
Hombee Pro
The base plan includes:
- one paying user;
- cloud AI models in the Hombee app assistant;
- support for one Home Assistant instance.

The cloud assistant requires an internet connection. The local AI assistant remains a free alternative on supported devices.
Hombee Pro Family
Family add-ons increase the number of people covered by Hombee Pro. They require an active base plan. You can add up to 11 people, for a total Hombee Pro household size of up to 12 people.

The base plan includes one Home Assistant instance. Add-ons can increase the limit by four more instances, for a total of five. Every add-on requires an active Hombee Pro base plan.

Cloud services and future features
The base plan includes advanced cloud models. Other services with a significant operating cost, such as speech-to-text, text-to-speech or an always-on AI agent connected to Home Assistant, may require Hombee Pro when available. Before purchasing, check the current plan details in the app.
A subscription does not enable modules that are absent from an installation or expand a user’s permissions to devices and operations.
Billing and subscription management
All plans are monthly subscriptions and renew until cancelled. Before you confirm, you see the price for your account, currency, taxes and region. Purchase, restoration and subscription management are available from the Hombee app and its supported payment system.
