Endpoint and authentication
Home MCP is available at an address ending in /mcp. Add this address to a compatible MCP client, then sign in with the Hombee account that has access to the correct installation.
Verify discovery before acting
- Add the Hombee Home MCP server in the client.
- Finish signing in on the page opened in your browser.
- Check which account and installation the client is using.
- Review the tools available for that installation and your permissions.
- Start with a read-only request and compare the result with the Hombee app.
- Review the target and consequence before any state-changing action.
Do not paste session credentials or tokens into requests. If the client shows no tools, check the account, installation access, and the client’s MCP support before trying again.
