Protocol support is not a universal promise
The Hombee app works with your own Home Assistant instance, Matter devices and supported energy systems. You do not need a Hombee home or an installation from Hombee. A supported platform or protocol does not guarantee that every feature of every device is available.

- Home Assistant and device registries show the connected entities and their current capabilities.
- The device manufacturer’s documentation defines the features of a specific model.
- The Hombee operation catalog defines the maximum set of app and Home MCP operations.
- The signed-in user’s capabilities determine what is actually available.
When requesting compatibility confirmation, provide the product model, intended function and connected system. For a home delivered by Hombee, its specification adds the exact devices and modules included in that project. A brand name or protocol logo alone is insufficient.
