We build Hombee in a factory together with all its furnishings. Finished modules arrive on your plot, where we assemble and start them up. If you already have electricity and water, you can move in. Utility connections sometimes take longer, because their dates depend on the utility providers.

See Hombee Home take shape on micropiles. Modules arrive fully equipped, with windows, doors, finished short-wall facades and access strips at their joints. We fit the windows and doors in the factory, including those in the gable walls. Roof cassettes include battens, counter-battens and membrane overlaps. PV panels, flashings and gable facades are fitted on site. The foundation detail illustrates the system; pile lengths and support heights depend on the project.

Product scope
What exactly do I buy with Hombee Home?
Hombee Home is a complete residential product, not only a modular structure. You buy a home as a coherent ecosystem: CLT structure, architecture, finishing, building systems, devices, equipment, Hombee OS, and the delivery process.
What does the Hombee standard mean?
The Hombee standard means that finishing, furniture, devices, media, and everyday equipment are designed as one whole. The scope starts with custom furniture and reaches down to cutlery and a starter in the fridge.
Does the equipment include appliances, AV, and everyday items?
Yes. The scope includes kitchen appliances, media equipment in the living room and bedrooms, a laundry and drying zone, cutlery in the drawer, fragrance dispensers, and other everyday-use elements. The detailed scope is confirmed when configuring the selected model.
Does Hombee Home look like a typical modular house?
Not in the typical sense. Modularity is hidden in the form so the house reads as clean, monolithic architecture. It gives production repeatability and faster installation without the feeling of a temporary object assembled from containers.
Structure and interiors
What is the home built from?
The Hombee Home structure is made from solid CLT timber with load-bearing capacity comparable to concrete. The elements are produced and certified in Austria according to Eurocode 5, and the structure is designed for 100 years of durability.
Can you see natural wood inside?
Yes. CLT lets the natural quality of wood remain part of the interior. We do not cover it with plaster, paint, or unnecessary chemicals where wood and natural oils can build the final microclimate of the home.
Are materials selected for everyday durability?
Yes. Interiors have ready-made styles, highly resistant matte surfaces, system-matched fronts and worktops, and materials selected for daily use. In practice, you choose a direction, not hundreds of individual details.
Can a small model still be functional?
Yes. The home layout is designed around natural movement paths. The goal is 100% use of the floor area: fewer empty meters, fewer accidental passages, and more function within the same area.
Technology and autonomy
What does Software-Defined Building mean?
A Software-Defined Building is a home where technology is not an add-on after construction. Energy, climate, security, media, and network infrastructure are designed as one software-managed system.
What is Hombee OS?
Hombee OS acts as the home assistant. It autonomously manages energy, climate, and security, analyzes device operation, and maintains conditions in the background without requiring manual control of every element.
How does the home manage energy?
The home can combine an integrated solar roof, an energy storage system with automated energy trading, star topology electrical wiring, device-level energy measurements, and 48-hour backup power with 20 ms switching.
How does Hombee Home manage climate and air?
Climate is handled by an enterprise-class multifunctional ventilation unit, HEPA H13 filtration, a water treatment station, and automatic temperature and air-quality management. The real effect depends on the configuration and the conditions of a specific project.
What does home security include?
The system includes presence, leak, and smoke sensors, monitoring, alarm, and enterprise-class Wi-Fi 7. The home is designed to detect problems earlier and reduce situations where you need to supervise systems yourself.
What if equipment becomes outdated before installation?
We select devices according to reference models. If a newer standard appears before installation, we update the setup without changing the price so the home starts with the most current device generation possible.
Models and prices
How do I choose between a single-storey and a two-storey home?
Single-storey homes offer easy movement on one level and quick garden access from every room. Two-storey homes make better use of the plot and create a clearer split between daily and private zones.
Which models are available?
You can choose single-storey models S1–S6 from 21 to 128 m² and two-storey models D4–D10 from 68 to 198 m². They differ by area and module count, but keep the same Hombee Home product logic.
What are the model prices?
The international price list shows net values in EUR: single-storey models from 140,000 EUR to 438,500 EUR and two-storey models from 295,000 EUR to 606,000 EUR. Plot analysis is not used to negotiate the price; it checks whether implementation is technically possible under standard conditions.
Is the price guaranteed?
Yes. The price of your configuration is written into the agreement and does not change after signing. The agreement also guarantees the handover date.
Can I buy a Hombee Home with a mortgage?
Yes. Hombee Home is a year-round residential building, permanently founded on micropiles and built under a building permit. Banks lend for such homes with a construction mortgage, usually paid out in tranches. Terms, tranche sizes and the documents required vary by bank, and some banks do not finance modular homes, so check with your chosen bank before you sign the agreement. We provide the bank with the documents it needs for your application.
Plot and process
Is every plot suitable for Hombee Home?
Not every plot allows every Hombee Home model to be installed. Before signing the contract, we perform an individual analysis of the technical possibility of installing the home on the plot: access, installation, utilities, formal requirements, and model fit to the terrain.
What remains on the investor side?
You are responsible for buying the plot and bringing utilities to its boundary. Connections within the plot, documentation, permits, production, installation, equipment, and home activation are handled by Hombee within the agreed project scope.
Does Hombee handle paperwork and permits?
Yes. We prepare the documentation and manage the building permit process on your behalf. This is one of the elements that separates Hombee Home from simply buying a structure or a house design.
What does the delivery process look like?
The process has five stages: model choice, permits, production, installation, and activation. Model choice takes about 1 month, permits 2–3 months, production up to 4 months, on-site assembly 30 days and activation 48 hours. The keys are handed over 9 months after signing, and the agreement guarantees that date.
How long does installation take?
On-site assembly takes 30 days. A 100 m² structure stands in about 2 weeks; the remaining time goes into the solar roof, the gable facades, connecting the services and starting the systems.
How much time do I save compared with a traditional build?
A single-family house in Poland takes 51 months on average from the start of construction to completion (Statistics Poland, Construction in 2025). During that time, the investor finds contractors, buys materials and keeps the schedule. Just 4–5 hours a week adds up to about 1,000 hours. With Hombee Home, we handle these tasks and hand over the keys 9 months after you sign.
