Access is scoped
After signing in, you see the installations assigned to your account. The app and Home MCP provide actions supported by the connected installation, its capabilities, and your permissions.
Consequential actions
Reading information and changing state have different consequences. Before a sensitive operation, the client shows the affected installation, target, and expected change. Home MCP rejects a request when the current state or permissions do not allow it.
Data minimization
Troubleshooting uses the installation identifier, event time, and technical state. It does not require a password, recovery code, or access token.
