Access is scoped
The Hombee app can connect your own Home Assistant instance. It also shows homes that another person or Hombee has shared with your account. The app and Home MCP provide only the actions supported by the connected system and your permissions.
Consequential actions
Reading information and changing state have different consequences. Before a sensitive operation, the client shows the affected home, target and expected change. Home MCP rejects a request when the current state or permissions do not allow it.
Data minimization
Troubleshooting uses the connected-home identifier, event time and technical state. It does not require a password, recovery code or access token.
