Connect your own Home Assistant
You do not need an invitation or a Hombee installation. Sign in to your Hombee account, add your Home Assistant address in the app and select Sign in with Home Assistant. A Hombee account is required to use the app. Cloud sync of your credentials and Home MCP authorization also use it.
When a shared home is missing
- Confirm the email or identity used to sign in.
- Check whether the invitation was accepted with that same identity.
- Sign out and sign in again only after checking the account; repeated sign-ins do not repair an invitation assigned elsewhere.
- Ask the person who shared the home to check the invitation. For a Hombee project, contact Hombee with the home name and account identity. Do not send a password, recovery code or access token.
If the home is visible but a feature is missing, check the connected Home Assistant instance, device configuration and permissions before repeating account sign-in.
