Connect your own Home Assistant
You do not need an invitation or a Hombee installation. Add your Home Assistant address in the app and select Sign in with Home Assistant. The Hombee account is used for cloud synchronization and Home MCP authorization when you enable those features.
When a shared home is missing
- Confirm the email or identity used to sign in.
- Check whether the invitation was accepted with that same identity.
- Sign out and sign in again only after checking the account; repeated sign-ins do not repair an invitation assigned elsewhere.
- Ask the person who shared the home to check the invitation. For a Hombee project, contact Hombee with the home name and account identity. Do not send a password, recovery code or access token.
If the home is visible but a feature is missing, check the connected Home Assistant instance, device configuration and permissions before repeating account sign-in.
